Your Tasks

  • Provide a local IT Site Lead function for Eisai EMEA affiliate offices as part of the EMEA IT team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT operational services following ITIL best practices
  • Provide IT Service Desk Support during the standard office hours
  • Ensure that incidents, service and change requests are completed within SLA targets
  • Ensure all tickets are logged and regularly administered following ICT processes
  • Prioritise the resolution of incidents based on their business impact
  • Ensure asset management tasks are accurately performed.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that an effective operational service is maintained across the EMEA region
  • Provide IT induction training for new beginners
  • Administration of local telephone system
  • Monitor and work with external service providers such as local desktop and telephony providers to ensure respective service agreements are met
  • Maintain good communication with your colleagues regarding the resolution of incidents
  • Follow EMEA IT Procedures to ensure that the team provides a standard IT service across the region
  • Work with business colleagues to ensure the communication and compliance with European IT Policy and Standards
  • May perform project work

Your Profile

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience with ITSM Tool (ServiceNow preferred), ITIL Foundation (minimum)
  • Experience with working as a member of a European IT team
  • Experience with working with Microsoft 365 Enterprise Platforms, Apple iOS (desirable)
  • Experience in working with external service providers (desirable)
  • Fluent in German and Business English
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship/customer management skills
  • Logical/structured approach to problem analysis
  • Tenacity and the will to ensure that a problem is resolved using all means at one’s disposal
  • Strong service provider customer-focused approach (willingness to “go the extra mile” to achieve customer satisfaction)
  • Good team player
